DANVILLE, Va. - Irma Reynolds Hyler age 86, of 2314 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at the residence.
Born November 7, 1919, in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Lee Reynolds and Ava Eanes Reynolds.
She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church.
She was married to J. Boyd Hyler, who predeceased her.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela H. Stiles of Richmond; one son, James Boyd Hyler, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Ann M. Reynolds and Reba R. Motley, both of Chatham; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, at Mount Hermon Baptist Church with the Rev. Ryan Riley officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Organ fund, 4385 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540.
Scott Funeral Home, Chatham, is in charge of the arrangements.
