Dewey Wayne Bosserman, 49 of 122 Guy Street, passed away Thursday, (September 11, 2008) in the Augusta Medical Center.
Mr. Bosserman was born September 22, 1959 in Staunton, a son of the late James and Lethia (Troxell) Bosserman.
Dewey was employed by Augusta Medical Center as a Medical Transportation driver and served on the Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad.
Mr. Bosserman is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian D. and Jennifer Bosserman and Matthew S. and Heather Bosserman, all of Staunton; two brothers, Randy Bosserman and Chris Bosserman; a sister, Cathy Riddle; two special granddaughters Elina Jade Bosserman and Hannah Breeden; and a special friend Wilma Campbell all of Staunton.
Active pallbearers are Darrell Maddox, Kevin Maddox, Mike Riddle, Sr., Mike Riddle, Jr., Wally Pike, Steve Floyd and Paul Hartman.
A funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, (September 16, 2008) in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Galen Combs. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Mausoleum & Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Heather Bosserman.
