Frances was born Mar 5, 1921 to the late Charles and Minnie Roberta (Shipley) Yarnelli and passed away Dec 18, 1974.

Frances servered in the United States Navy. Frances play important role in the 55th national convention of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The convention open Monday Aug 19, in Detroit. Frances was the newly elected president of the Ohio VFW Auxiliary. She will fly to Detroit Saturday. One of the most dramatic moments will come when delegates to both the VFW and the Auxiliary conventions meets the Unsung Heroine of 1968. Frances will be one of the half-million American Women who perform services for the armed forces oversea.The award, which includes a grant of $500,was started by the VFW Auziliary in 1964. Betty Furness, the president's assistant for consumer affairs, will be the featured speaker on the opening day. Other convention highlights will include visits by presidetial candidates and the election of national officers for the 1968-69 VFW Auxiliary year.

Worked for the Ohio Power Company and she worked for Lincoln School as a secretary.

She is survived my her son Robert William (Beth) Vogelmeier and daughter Robin Lynn (Robert) Wright; one grandson Robert William Wright; brothers and sisters.
