Mr. Rufus Jackson Dawkins, 71, who resided with his wife, Mrs. Salley Dawkins, and step-daughter, Mrs. Virginia S Rains, at 2512 Marion St., died Wednesday. Mr. Dawkins, who came here from Alabama, has lived in Orlando for six months.

Survivors in addition to his widow, include a son, M.[sic] D. Dawkins and a daughter, Mrs. Ora Terry, both of Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 11 am today at Carey Hand funeral home, the Rev. Thomas Palmer of Reeves Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Internment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
