Per death certificate - daughter of A. S. Payne and Versie Annie Vough (as transcribed at FamilySearch). Family trees at Ancestry.com show her parents as Asa Stanford Payne and Mary Vienna Motes. I will look into it further, but any information you have to add would be appreciated.

Death certificate shows place of death as Commerce, Madison Co., GA; Her husband died in Commerce, Franklin Co., GA. I need to check to see if the county lines changed during that time period. If you are looking for information for her, try both counties to be safe.

Added 5DEC2021: 1860, 1870, and 1880 Census under Asa S Payne in Franklin County, GA show wife as Mary V Payne which more closely matches family records of Mary Vienna Motes.

Added 21Aug2023: My grandmother, Jincy Lane (Thomason) Bellamy, was Lucy's niece. She often told me that when she was about 3 years old she was taught a little rhyme to learn her great-grandmother's names. Whenever the families got together they would call over Jincy and ask her who her great-grandmothers were. "Jincy Lane, Vienne Payne, ask me again and I'll tell you the same", she would say after which everyone would make a great fuss about how smart she was. It must have made an impression. My grandmother was named after her paternal great-grandmother (Jincy Lane (Addison) Thomason). Her maternal great-grandmother was Mary Vienna (Moates) Payne.
