Paul W. Igelman , 75, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Oak Park, died in his home.
Mr. Igelman was born June 22, 1922 in Indianapolis, Ind., He attended Beye Elementary School and Oak Park-River Forest High School. He served in the Navy in radar communications during World War II and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. Prior to his retirement in 1980 he was an engineer for Western Electric Co. He had been a resident of Oak Park for 70 years.
Mr. Igelman was the husband of Margaret, nee Lord; father of Robert (Sherry), Kurt (Janet) and Richard Igelman and Pamela Pearl; grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of three; brother of Joyce (A.J.) Hundley; and son of Hazel Igelman .
Funeral services were held Oct. 17 in P.M. Smith Funeral Home, Oak Park, with the Rev. Wendy Witt presiding.
Interment was in Chapel Hill Gardens West, Elmhurst.
