Born near Terre Haute, Indiana, daughter of William A. "Alex" and Barbara A. (Blaylock) Snider/Snyder. She came to Missouri in 1855 with her parents who settled on what became known as the old Snider homestead near Gentry, MO. Her sister Mrs. Rae Beachler resides near Stanberry, MO.
Married June 14, 1883 to Joseph H. Degginger Sr. who died in 1912.
She died of broncho pneumonia, aged 68y 5m 13d. She is survived by a son Joseph H. Degginger and several brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
Buried in Grandview Cemetery.
