Mrs Lona M Fryhoff, 85, of Springfield,, formerly of Rochester, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday at her residence following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 1, 1900, in Missouri, the daughter of John and Ona Johnson Rose. She married Roy E. Fryhoff in 1920 in Kirksville, Mo., and he died in 1975. She moved to Rochester in 1950 and resided there until she moved to Springfield in 1978. Mrs. Fryhoff was a member of the Rochester Christian Church.
Surviving are her son and two daughters; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
