Hans Peter Wulf was born in Wisch, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany May 23, 1861, and passed away at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 20, 1949, at the age of 87 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany. Mr. Wulf came to this country in May, 1884. He worked as hired man until 1886 when he started farming in the Maney District. On Mar. 5, 1880, he was married to Jennie Beckman, and they made their home on this farm until 1916 when they moved to their present home at 408 E. South St., Blair.

Left to mourn are his wife, Jennie; two daughters, Mrs. Celia Hansen and Mrs. Belva Voss; four grandchildren, Glenn Voss of Kelliber, Minn.; Ruth Hansen Christensen of Omaha; Clara Hansen Klingforth of Omaha; Lillian Hansen Jipp of Ft. Calhoun; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Mar. 23, at Bendorf’s Funeral Home, Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.
