Henry Jake Smith, 96, of 345 Sweetwater Avenue, Florence died Saturday at Decatur General Hospital.
Services will be conducted Monday at 1pm from Morrison-Elkins Chapel in Tuscumbia. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with Morrison-Elkins directing.
Surviving are a son, Levi Smith, Decatur; five daughters: Mrs Lillian Fuller, Florence;Mrs Grace Berry, Sheffield; Mrs Lola May Godsey, Vance, Mississippi; Mrs Pauline Brewer, Tuscumbia; Mrs Amy Hendrix, Florece; nine grandchildren.
The body will be at Morrison-Elkins in Tuscumbia until time for th service.
