Alvie O. Gleaves, 60, widely known Dozier man, died Saturday, November 30 in Wichita Falls. He had been in ill health for several years and seriously ill for about three weeks.
Mr. Gleaves had been a resident of this county and Wheeler County for the last 18 yeas, and until three years ago farmed north of Lutie.
Born in Collin County June 6, 1886, he was 60 years, 5 months and 24 days of age.
Mr. Gleaves had been a member of the Baptist Church for 30 years, having joined at Van Alstyne.
