PIONEER MAN DIES AT GOPHER VALLEY
Jasper Agee died at his home in Gopher Valley at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 3 days. He was a real pioneer, having been brought by covered wagon to Oregon when he was but an infant. His parents took up a claim in Gopher Valley and Mr. Agee has lived there ever since.
He is survived by six children, George of Gopher Valley, Anna Griffith and Uuella Murphy of Camas, Wn., Clive of Craigmont, Idaho, Walter of Umatilla, Clint of Wishram, Wn. Two brothers also survive: Tom of Eugene, and Eugene of Gopher Valley.
Funeral services were held at the Sheridan Funeral home Wednesday, June 18, and interment was made in the Agee cemetery in Gopher Valley.
