Born September 26, 1916 in Alpena, MI to Alsid Bleau and Leah (Coulliard) Bleau, Exoria Bleau was one of the eleven graduates of St. Anne Catholic School in 1934 and married Ernest W. Burgoyne on November 10, 1934 moving to Detroit. In 1941 they moved to Harrisville. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church of Harrisville and a member of its Altar Society.
Exoria Burgoyne was survived by two daughters, Alice Pyne of Fenton, MI and Mary McGlocklin of Columbus, OH; three sons, William (Pat) of Seebewaing, MI, Richard (Shirley Hethorn) of Haynes Township and Ernest C. (Diane) of Hubbard Lake, MI; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Norbert Burgoyne in 1989, her husband Ernest Burgoyne in 2005, her sister Genevieve Sloan and her two brothers Sidney Bleau and Clarence Bleau.
Exoria remained active while at the nursing home; she exercised daily, enjoyed the multiple activities, and conversations with her friends.
