On September 27, 1965, Robert Wayne Deserly was born to Joseph Deserly, Sr. and Geraldine (Clancy) Deserly. Robert passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 in Billings, MT at the age of 47. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend will be dearly missed.
Robert attended schools in Wolf Point, Frazer, and Billings. He held various jobs such as being a seasonal firefighter, and seismographer, and custodian for the Wolf Point School District. He also was well known for his mechanic skills.

Growing up, Robert was a member of the Blue Earth boxing club, becoming a 3 time Golden Gloves champion, as well as winning numerous ribbons and trophies.
Robert always made sure his children came first. He met Althea Redstone in 1997 and they were blessed with 3 daughters. Robert and Althea were married on February 4, 2006.

Robert is survived by his wife, Althea of Wolf Point; children, Jacob P. Deserly and Tyson R. Deserly both of MN, Blessings Deserly of Wolf Point, Chelsea M. Deserly of Denver, CO, Abrianne L. Deserly of Billings, Roberta R. Deserly of Glasgow, Mary M. Deserly of Wolf Point and Latoya D. Deserly of Poplar; grandchildren, Antonio, Aaliya, Marcus, Luthor, Blessings, Ivan, Locke, Seth, Melissa, Ever, and 2 on the way; brothers, Joseph Jr., Wilfred, and Julian Deserly all of Wolf Point; sisters, Danielle Deserly of Chicago, IL, and Jo Dahna Deserly of Wolf Point; uncles, Lanny (Cathy) Deserly of Helena, MT and Gary Schauer of Wolf Point; aunts, Rosie Lilley of Wolf Point and Virginia Clancy of CA; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Alex Deserly, Jenny Schauer, Edison Clancy and Helen (Dumont) Clancy; and brothers, Jeff and Burton Deserly.

A wake will be held 7 p.m. Monday, January 21 at the Community Hall in Wolf Point.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22 at the Community Hall in Wolf Point.

Interment will follow at the King Memorial Cemetery in Wolf Point.

Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
