Frances Dailey of Batesville, Arkansas died January 11 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, at the age of 92 years and 10 months. She was born March 11, 1920 in Harrell, Calhoun, Arkansas to Walter Benjamin Williams and Merdie Mae Robertson Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Burkley Dailey in 2001, her parents, Walter & Merdie Williams,one son, Bennie/Benny Ray Dailey, two brothers, Roy George Williams and Billy Joe Williams, and two sisters, Katharine Williams and Ruby Marie Williams Davis.

She is survived by four sons and their spouses: James Mac Dailey and Victoria of Sequim, WA, Charles Walter Dailey and Peggy of Belton, MO, Jerry Kay Daiey of Sequim, WA, and Bobby Joe Dailey and Patsey of Batesville, AR, three daughters and their spouses: Martha Jean Carpenter and Jerry of Davenport, FL, Mary Faye Hodges and Louis of Parkland, FL, and Judith Ann Coon and Jim of Portland, ME. 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Frances and her husband J.B. farmed land for many years and moved to Ash Flat, AR in 1968. They worked hard and made many sacrifices for their family. Her greatest blessings were her Christian faith, her family and friends, and her church. Her final home was at Eagle Mountain Assisted Living where she experienced so much comfort and joy from the care she received from the staff and from the many friends she made while living there.

Being of the Southern Baptist faith for over eighty years, Frances and her husband provided assistance and financial support for five missions that have become growing churches throughout Missouri and Arkansas. She was a member of West Baptist Church in Batesville, AR for many years, and was currently a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Batesville, AR where her son, Rev. Bobby Dailey was currently pastoring.

Frances leaves numerous friends and family members. She has always been greatful for what she received from others. She enjoyed life at its fullest as she loved and cared for so many. Her strength was her prayer life. She loved gospel music, embroidery, cooking, playing games, working puzzles, and reading. She will always be remembered as a faithful, loving, and kind person who reflected the character of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
