Funeral services are planned Wednesday for Mrs. Mae Goshorn, 95 of Franklin route 5 who died at the Johnson county Memorial Hospital Saturday evening.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Vandivier-Parsley funeral home in Franklin. Burial will be at Maple Grove cemetery in Clay City, Indiana.

Mrs. Goshorn is survived by a son, George Goshorn who is superintendent of the county hospital and four other children.

Her other children include Mrs. Alva Wenonah Brewer of Franklin where she made her home; Mrs. Lela Miles and William Goshorn both of Elkhart and Robert Goshorn of Sebring, Florida.

Mrs. Goshorn has been a patient at the hospital for the past 22 days. She was born in Benton county, Indiana and had been a resident Johnson county for the past 10 years. Her husband died in 1943.

She was the daughter of William Shonkwilker[sic] and Mary Perkins Shonkwilker[sic] and attended Raub high school and Indiana State University.

Calling hours at Vandivier-Parsley will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Rodney Jarchow of St. Thomas Church in Franklin.
