Obituary
Services for Lydia J. Andersen were held on December 20 at the Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Feurhak officiating, burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Andersen died at the Crowell Home in December 18, 1985, after a brief illness.

She was born on July 28, 1889, at Blair, Nebraska to Jens and Anna Petersen. Following her marriage to Peter K. Andersen on December 3, 1914, they moved to the New England District where she lived until moving to Crowell Home in 1985.

She was a member of the Herman American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son Alvan E. Andersen of Herman, two daughters Adelia I Streeter and Mrs. Richard (Elveria) Lee both of Sacramento, California; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter in August of 1952, five brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers were Dwain Jordan, Greg Jordan, A.I. Magill, Harold Magill, Melvin Magill and Armand Thomsen.
