Mrs. Addie Ethel Parker, 73, died at the home of her son, Arthur Parker, Rt. 1, Elkhorn, Tuesday, May 3, at 4:40 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Thursday (today) at 2:00 p.m. at the Green River Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Landon Hadley, pastor, in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Parker was born in the Mt. Carmel Community in Adair County. Her usual place of residence was on Route 1, Elkhorn, in the Whites Ridge Community. She was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church and the daughter of the late Laura Ann Mann and William Arthur Clark. Fifty-two years ago she was married to William Logan Parker, who died in February 1962. She is survived by two children, William Arthur Parker, Rt. 1, Elkhorn, and Thomas Val Parker, Wilmington, Delaware; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one brother, Levi Parber Clark, Chenoa, Ill. One son, Shelby Lee Parker, two brothers and three sisters precede her in death. Pallbearers were Hollis, Billy, Harlan, Allen, Harvey and Johnnie Parker.
