POWELL, Tenn. —
Alice "Maggie" Pelfrey, age 89, of Powell, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010, at Norris Health & Rehab Center.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a real Christian woman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Kelly Pelfrey; son, Harold Gene Pelfrey; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arwood.
Maggie is survived by her son, Charles Kelly Pelfrey, and wife, Myrtle, of Clinton; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel. The family will meet at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, for a 10 a.m. graveside service with Brother Matt Witt officiating at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
