Charles E. Doyle, 69, formerly of Louisville, died Tuesday at St. Joe Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, Ind. He was a retired banker for First National Bank of East Chicago, Ind., an Army veteran of the Korean War and past president of East Chicago Lions and Scottsville Lions clubs.

He was a native of Park City, a retired welder for the old Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co., and a member of Larchmont Church of God and Highland Park Masonic Lodge 865. Survivors: a son, Charles Doyle; a daughter, Hazel M. McBrayer of Phoenix, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Ul-dine Whitehouse; a brother, Elbert Doyle; two sisters, Beatrice Herron of Park City and Daisy Hogan; seven grandchildren; and 10 Funeral: noon Monday, Arch L Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park
