Married to Isaac Franklin Stanford. She and Isaac had thirteen children. Their first child was a stillborn baby boy. Unknown where he is buried.

ELECTRA, Texas May 15 -- Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Ella Florence Stanford, 78, who died at the home of a son, I. F. Stanford, Tuesday morning following a lingering illness. The Rev. Miles B. Hayes, Pastor of the Burkburnett Baptist Church officiated. Pall bearers were W. R. Rouse, L. N. Cruse, W. C. Lockett, W. H. Hickey, J. C. McClintock, and W. L. Tinnin. Totten Brothers directed burial in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Stanford was a native of Mississippi and lived in Oklahoma and New Mexico before moving to Electra in 1911. Mr. Stanford died in 1913. Mrs. Stanford was the mother of 13 children, 11 of whom survive. A daughter, Mrs. Lenora James, died 30 years ago. Mrs. Stanford is survived by seven sons, J. N., J. O., I. F., and A. G. Stanford, all of Electra; R. P. Stanford, Clovis, New Mexico; M. I. and C. F. Stanford, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four daughters, Mesdames Alice Ammons, Bard, New Mexico; Molly Reynolds, Allen, Oklahoma, Sue Roberts, Ada, Oklahoma, Ella Florence Wilde, Electra; one brother, Charles Murphey, Jourdonton, Texas, one sister, Mrs. Elmina Smith, Purvis, Mississippi, 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
