Shadrach served in the Revolutionary War alternately under Capts. Joshua PALMER, Benjamin JOLLY and Col. BRANDON, during 1779, 1780, 1781. He was taken prisoner and died while in confinement; A.A. 5703; X2407; X3062; Annuitants Claims. "Paid to James MARTIN all the Claims belonging to Shadrich PARLER, deceased, against the State of South Carolina for services done in Colo. BRANDON Reg. of Mil. Value Reserves this 18th day of November 1790." signed by mark of Luzian PARLER. Susannah PARLER was paid 8:15, as widow of Shadrach, held prisoner by the enemy and died in confinement.
