WILLAMINA - Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Willamina, for Henry J. Buswell, 75, late of McMinnville. Interment was in the Willamina Cemetery.
Mr. Buswell died Saturday as the result of a 25 foot fall from a scaffolding in Lafayette, where he was shingling a house.
Buswell had lived in Willamina until moving to McMinnville 13 years ago. He was a carpenter by trade. His wife, Austa, died in 1932, and his second wife, Clara, died in 1955.
He is survived by five sons, Walter, James and John of Willamina: Edwin of Sandy and Richard of Roseburg; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Robertson of Willamina. Mrs. Bessie Golgert of Dillard, Mrs. Merle McKirdy of Yoncalla and Mrs. Irma Shiel of Rockaway; a brother, Lawrence of Iowa; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
