Mrs. Elizabeth (Libby) Whatley Bedenbaugh age 94, died November 19, 2015. She was born July 13, 1921 in Fayette County to the late Berry J. and Percy P. Whatley. Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 55 years Lewis (Pete) Bedenbaugh. Preceding her also was her brother and sister in law Wilson H. and Dorothy S. Whatley.

She leaves her loving and devoted children, Melanie (Marshall) White of St. Joseph, MO., Bonnie (John) Thompson of Senoia, GA. and Richard (Pam) Bedenbaugh of Senoia. Also grandchildren, April White of St. Joseph, MO, Bradley (Vickie) Thompson of Newnan, Justin (Kimberley) Thompson of Senoia, Barron (Deann) Reagan of Griffin, Sid (Melissa) Bedenbaugh of Senoia, Rick (Becca) Bedenbaugh of Newnan and 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents being gospel musicians, music was one of her greatest pleasures. She also loved growing flowers and crocheting. She designed many of her own pieces. She was active in her church for many years. She sang in the choir, taught Bible schools and was active in missions.

Condolences may be expressed online at www.mckoon.com Funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home 38 Jackson St. Newnan with Rev. Frank Powers officiating. Visitation was held Monday from 1:00 Pm until service time. Burial followed at Senoia City Cemetery.
