Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in Chapel in the Garden, Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas, for John E. Branscome, 77, who died Monday in his home, 2622 N. 70th Pl., Scottsdale.
The Rev. J. Dee Cates will officiate. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Garden, Scottsdale. Mr. Branscome operated the Lantron Motel in Scottsdale from 1949 until his retirement in 1957. A native of Laurel Fork, Virginia, he moved in Scottsdale 12 years ago from Aztec, NM.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 10 p.m. today. Mr. Branscome is survived by his wife, Hattie, a son, H. S., Phoenix, and four sisters and a brother, all out of state.
