Born May 5, 1929 at New Camp, KY, she was a daughter of the late Fred Isaac and Elsie Montgomery Isaac.
Betty was a loving mother who enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She was of the Baptist faith.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and a son in law, Randy Buckland.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Brenda Garcia and husband Joe of Hinton, Terri L. Cox and husband Charlie of Mocksville, NC and Cathy J. Buckland and companion Timothy Fleshman of Blue Springs, MO; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Mathew, Michael, Nathan, Danny, Christina, Jennifer, Melissa and Leanna; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Isaac of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Mildred Slater of Corryton, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dan Worley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
