CARLISLE - Gerald F. "Gerry" Simons, 64, of 825 Forge Road died yesterday in Carlisle Hospital.

He was a retired audio-visual technician for the Cumberland Valley School District; a World War II veteran; and was a member of First Church of God and its council and senior choir, the Moose, and the Cumberland County Umpires Association.

Surviving are his wife, Helen R. Simons; two sons, Ronald L. and William G., both of Carlisle; two daughters, Dianne Shullenberger of Carlisle, and Donna Travis of State College; a brother, Marshall of Dillsburg; two sisters, Bernice Romberger of Shiremanstown, and Joanne Weiss of Mechanicsburg; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Monday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Twp.

Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
