Coldwater - ALTON H. BROWN, 97, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pate-Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Senatobia with burial to follow in Thyatira Cemetery. He was the widower of Virginia W. Brown to whom he was married for 51 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Brown and Lula Jane Meredith Brown. He leaves his daughters, Nell Brown of Southaven, MS, Lucille Wilson of Horse Shoe Bend, AR and Sandra Moore of Huntsville, AL. His sons, Perry Brown of Memphis, and Ralph Brown of Barr, MS; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was a member of Thyatira Church of Christ. He was retired farmer and retired Surgery Attendant at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, March 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral Home. Pate-Jones Funeral Home 662-562-4481
