Carol J. Snyder, 70 of Huntington passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013 at her residence. Carol was a 1960 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Markle Church of Christ.
She was born on June 7, 1942 in Huntington, a daughter of Wilbur and Mary (Drabenstot) Hosler.
She was united in marriage to Neil O. Snyder on June 30, 1961 in Markle. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Lonnie (Lisa) Snyder of Huntington; two daughters: Wendy (Doug) Gower of Huntington; Jill (Brian) Conn of Auburn; two sisters: Lois Bowman of Fort Wayne; Joan Grable of Fort Wayne and seven grandchildren: Brittany Gower, Brandi Gower, Brock Gower, Chelsi Snyder, Carly Snyder, Andrew Conn and Kaylee Conn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Gerald O. Moreland officiating.
Interment will be at the Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville.
