Found in The State 19 May 1971: Lorenzo T. "Buck" Williams, 50. of 4802 James St. died Tuesday in Columbia Hospital. Mr. Williams was born in Kershaw County, a son of Mrs. Myrtle Williams Okley and the late Frank Williams. He had lived in Columbia all of his life and was a member of South Side Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cola Mae West Williams; his mother of Columbia; a son, Stephen Williams of the U.S. Navy; two daughters, Miss Linda Jean Williams of the home and Mrs. Brenda Nuspilger of White Plains, N. Y.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Alewine and Miss Juanita Williams of Columbia. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in South Side Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. W. Lloyd Helland. Burial will be in Olympia Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge.
