Pauline Lancaster, 92, of Galt, died April 9 in Galt. She was born March 10, 1912, in Alex, Okla.

Ms. Lancaster married Thomas Henry Lancaster in 1928. She moved to Lodi with her husband in 1945, where she worked in local canneries. She moved to Citrus Heights and then relocated to Galt four years ago. She enjoyed quilting and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lancaster, of Galt; daughters, Norma Jennings, of Fairfield, and Ramona McDaniel, of Nevada; sisters, Inez Spark, of Chula Vista, and Wanda Phillips, of San Diego; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Lancaster in 1966; brothers, Ed Glover, Ray Glover and Arthur Glover; and one grandchild.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Interment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
