Grace M. McCartney, 91, of Moline, IL, died Feb. 21, 1996, at her home.
Services were held Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline with burial in Moline Memorial Park. Grace McCartney was born Dec. 10, 1904, in Montezuma, to Addison and Ada Bell Msgrove Murphy. She married James McCartney on Feb. 22, 1925, in Washington. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, East Moline, and was a former Gray Lady volunteer for five years at the Moline Public Hospital.
Survivors include; one daughter, Martha Jackson, Moline, four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, two sisters, Eva Misel, Antioch, Ca, Jean Bennett, Bethel Island, CA; and five brothers, Floyd Murphy and Glen Murphy, both of Washington, Fay Murphy, Wenachee, WA, Bill Murphy, Muscatine, and Addison Murphy, Letts.
