Harvey was a member of the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge 263 in Stuart, VA. He retired from the United States Air Force with 25 years of service, having fought in the Vietnam war, and had driven for R. L. Shelton Trucking, Burgess Trucking, John Lawson Trucking and the Wood Brothers Racing Team.
Harvey is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Karen Walker of Stuart, VA.; two brothers, Harley A. Walker of Roanoke, VA. and Jerry Walker of Stuart, VA.; one sister, Onie Kane of Florida; and a special friend, Jane Clifton of Woolwine, VA.
