J.D. Copper, 73, long time Guymon resident, died in Dunaway Manor Thursday, June 30.
Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Elmhurst Cemetery at Guymon, Friday, July 1, at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Jim Smith, Associate Pastor of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be under the direction of the Henson Funeral Home of Guymo.

He married Ollie Mae Fike March 13, 1937 in Pampa, Texas. They moved to Guymon in 1952.
He is survived by his wife of Dunaway Manor; one daughter, Mrs. R.S. Gaston of Carlsbad, N.M.; one sister, Lottie Mae Godsey of Amarillo, Texas; and one grandson, Bob Gaston of Carlsbad, N.M.
