Mrs. John Buker passed away Wednesday morning, November 3, at her home at 2:30 o’clock. She had been in failing health since last January and was confined to her home the past five weeks.
Emma Schuldt was a former resident of Meriden township, her birthplace, January 10, 1869. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schuldt. On March 16, 1895, she was united in marriage to John Buker in Meriden. They made their home on a farm in Woodville township until their retirement in 1916 when they moved to this city, where they have since made their home. Mr. Buker preceeded her in death on December 14, 1934.
Mrs. Buker is survived by her only daughter, Miss Lillian Buker at home. Her brother, J. H. C. Schuldt and a sister, Mrs. Mary Mundt, both of Owatonna also survive. One son died in infancy.
Funeral services will take place Friday at 1:15 p. m., at the home and at St. John’s Lutheran church, of which she was an active member, at 1:30 p. m. Rev. Theo. Hennings, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in Woodville cemetery.
