Mr. Thomas Guy Duren,61,of Houston,died Sunday afternoon. Born and reared in Houston County ,Mr. Duren had lived in Houston the last five years. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m.in the New Energy Church,with the Rev A.S.Lee Officiating. Burial was in the New Energy Cemetery.Survivors include the wife,Mrs Guy Duren of Houston;a brother,Will Ike DEuren of Crockett;seven sisters,Mrs Frank Johnson,Mrs J.C. Bell and Mrs Lovie McAnally ,all of Crockett,Mrs A.S.Temple of Humble,Mrs Jimmy Stewart of Washington,D.C.,Mrs J.E.Ashmore of Houston,and Mrs Frank Alderman of Lufkin. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
