JESSIE FLORENCE MAUDE HENDERSON, beloved wife of the late James B. Henderson, passed away in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on December 5, 1999.

She was born on June 21,1903 on a ranch just south of Lethbridge, to George and Isabella Russell, the youngest of seven children and the only girl.

Her love of reading developed at an early age and her passion for good literature continued for the rest of her life.

Florence married Jim Henderson on December 16,1936 and moved to the farm in the McNally district, just south of Lethbridge. She was a member of the McNally Home and School Association and the Wilson-White Community Club.

Florence and Jim moved into Lethbridge in 1965 and left the running of the farm to their two sons. She was an active member of the Grace Marshall Unit at Southminster United Church and honored with a life membership in United Church Women.

Florence is survived by two sons, Russell (Wanda) and Richard (Terri) Henderson and a daughter, Isabel Ivan (Albert); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren,; sister-in-law, Lily Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation.
