Married (2) Mary Margaret Robertson circa 1875 in McLennan Co., Texas. Together they were parents of James Joseph Gribble and Lucy Margaret (Gribble) Peters.

Married (3) Josephine Wallace on Feb. 12, 1884 in McLennan Co., Texas. Together they were parents of Mary Young Gribble.


Robert Gribble died today at Austin. Father of Robert F. Gribble of Waco. Age 74. To Waco in 1872; later to Austin. Surviving children: C. W. of Texarkana, R. F. of Waco, A. M. of Temple, Mrs. Henry Peters of Axtell, and Miss May of Austin. Leaves a wife. Funeral tomorrow in Waco from the residence of R. F. Gribble, 12th & Jefferson, Rev. Mr. Greer officiating.
