John Edward Ade, 86 years old, passed away Saturday, November 28, 1987, at the Kendallwood Trails Nursing Center in Gladstone. John was a lifelong Greater Kansas City resident and made his home in North Kansas City. He was employed as an engineer for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad for 45 years before retiring in 1966. Mr. Ade was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kansas City.
He left a son, John L. Ade; two daughters, Katherine Bledsoe and Margie Nolte; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial at Resurrection Cemetery North.
