Argyle- Frank C.O. Munich, 56, for 13 years postmaster here, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, died Tuesday night at his home following a six-month illness. Heart disease was the cause of death.
Mr. Munich spent his childhood in Jefferson. He came here in 1900. On Jan. 23, 1901, he married Miss Anna May Nauert at Boscobel. Mr. Munich was a pharmacist at Argyle and from 1914 to 1927, postmaster. From 1927 to 1930, he was manager of the Argyle Canning factory.
Surviving are three sons, Francis and Herbert, at Milwaukee; Malcolm, at home; a daughter, Miss Marjorie, a student at Platteville college; two brothers, the Rev. Edward F. Munich, Stratton, Colo., Max M. Munich, Kansas City.
The funeral will probably be held Friday morning from the Catholic church.
