Mrs. Homer Abrams, 88, of North Ohioville road, a lifelong resident of New Paltz , died at the Ulster County Infirmary yesterday, after a long illness.
The former Miss Ida F. Minard, she was born Feb. 18, 1873, in the Town of New Paltz, the daughter of the late David and Mary Steen Minard. She was married in 1895, in New Paltz
A member of the Methodist church, she is survived by her husband; a nephew, Loren Abrams, also New Paltz; and by several cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pine Funeral Home Inc., New Paltz, with the Rev. Willett Porter, of New Paltz Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the New Paltz Rural cemetery.
Friends may call a the funeral home tonight, tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night.
