She was born February 22, 1931 to Walter and Ruby(Prigmore) Keely at their Homestead near Douglass, Kansas.
She graduated from Lagondan High School in Winfield Kansas and shortly thereafter married Donald Evan Holt, May 28, 1948 at the Church of Christ in Douglass, KS.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald July 19, 2001; daughter, Lucinda Harrold July 2, 2011, sister Louise Wells brother, Walter Keely
She is survived by sons Donald and Lola Holt, Ronald and Becky Holt of Harper; Son-in-Law Bill Harrold, Ulysses, Ks; four brothers, Kenneth Keely, Columbus, KS; Keith Keely, Valley Center, KS; Paul Keely Wichita, KS; Danny Keely, Aurora, MO, three sisters; Carol Hrabik, Oceanside, CA; Pat Harding, Blue Springs, MO and Marilyn Schmitt Columbus, KS; grandchildren Donnie, Megan, Hollie, Hayley, Matt, Jasey and Drew; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Ella, Jonathan, Joshua, Zachary, Catherine, Landry, Brody, Kyler, Addie, Blake and Lucinda.
Lois accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1960 and became a member of the Harper Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, worked as a Youth Group leader and Assistant Treasurer for many years. Also in her life time she served as both a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader and bookkeeper for Ron's Flowers.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.
