Hugh Frederick "Freddie" Davis, age 84, went to Heaven on January 3, 2013. He was preceded by his lovely wife Mary Davis. Brother of four sisters and three brothers, he is survived by one sister, Joyce. Father of Hugh Davis, Jr. (Janey), Deborah Davis, Lee Davis (Brenda), and Timothy Davis. Grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of five. Freddie served his country for over 20 years and then retired as a Capitol Policeman with over 21 years with the U.S. House of Representatives. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302. Funeral Service will be at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located across from the funeral home. Burial will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
