Wayne Louis Kierce, age 45 of Kerrville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. He was born April 2, 1967 in Kerrville. He was the son of Anthony Louis Kierce and Floy (Osborne) Jung. Wayne was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was a Registered Nurse who received his Bachelors of Science degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. He worked in trauma centers at Wilford Hall in San Antonio and as an associate professor for EMT classes in Central Texas. He loved to spend time with his kids and taking them fishing, camping, kayaking, and fixing S'mores.
He is survived by his mother, Floy Jung of Kerrville; children, Tatumn Kierce and Tregg Kierce, both of San Antonio; step son, Tadge Davis of San Antonio; sister, Wanda Mann and husband, James of Mansfield; brother, William Kierce and wife, Sabrena of Fredericksburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013, 10 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Pastor Mike Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
