Frank William Brauer
A lingering illness proved fatal yesterday, [14 Oct. 1936], afternoon to Frank William Brauer at his home in Rockford. having just lived in Rockford 2 months having moved from Palmyra twp. Lee county.

Frank was born 5 June 1855 in Palmyra twp. son of Martin and Helen Harms Brauer.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Smith, Rockford, Mrs. Etta Behrender, Dixon; two sons, Fred and Walter both of Dixon; sic grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife and several siblings.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the old Lee county homestead, with Reverend Keck of Sterling officiating. Interment will be made in Palmyra twp. Cemetery
