Old Time Resident Of County Buried At Sand Coulee

The funeral of Thomas Wheeler, old time resident of Sand Coulee, was held at the Methodist church at Sand Coulee Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. M. W. Needham conducted the service and burial took place in the Sand Coulee cemetery. Members of the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias lodges attended the funeral in a body.

The bearers, all old friends of Mr. Wheeler, were S. A. Willis, John Gillin, Samuel Swiling, Joe Herring, Oscar Adolphson and James Mayfield.

Mr. Wheeler had for more than 40 years been a resident of Cascade county and lived in Great Falls for several years prior to his removal to Sand Coulee. He was at one time deputy county assessor.

Surviving relatives are two sons, Warren W. Wheeler of Sand Coulee and Thomas Wheeler, Jr., of New York.
