Leola L. "Lou" Bishop-Fleck, 94, of Cheyenne died Sept. 23 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 25, 1917, in Torrington and had lived in Wyoming all of her life.

Mrs. Bishop-Fleck worked as a cashier for the Cole Safeway store for more than 35 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Bishop-Fleck is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, J. Wayne and Shirley Bishop of Spruce Pine, N.C.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and James Brown of Cheyenne and Norma Fleck of Cheyenne; three grandchildren, Rick Bishop of Cheyenne, Debbie Tamson of North Carolina and Angie and Chad Patterson of North Carolina; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard Bishop, whom she married in 1936, died in January 1975, and George Fleck, whom she married in 1979, died in 1991; her parents, Jesse and Sylvia Petty; two brothers, Harold Petty and Ralph Petty; a sister, W. Helen Tate; and a brother-in-law, Chris Fleck.
