GIRARD, GA – Judah B. Buxton Sr., 90, died Wednesday morning at a Millan hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm today at the Bethany Methodist Church with the Rev. W.E. Cochron, and the Rev. Harold Sheperd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Buxton was a native of Burke County and was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. W.A. Wright, Forest Park, Ga., Mrs. W.M. Jenkins, Girard, Mrs. J.B. Johnstone, Savannah, Mrs. J.O. Hunnicutt, Ft. Steward, Ga., Mrs. Cecil K. Daniel Sr., Glennville, Ga.; a son, J.B. Buxton Jr., Atlanta Ga.

Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.

The body will be at the church one-half hour prior to service. Friends may call at DeLoach Funeral Home.
