Charles A. Adams, 81, Altoona, died Weds., January 9, 2012. He was born in Hollidaysburg to Warren W. & Josephine (Koegler) Adams. He married Eloise Y. Arnold on June 27, 1953, in Altoona and she died Oct. 2, 2009, after 56 years of marriage. Survived by daughters: Cynthia Ann McMullen of Altoona and Christine Mohney of Penn Run; son, Charles A. Jr. of Westminster, MD; 6 grandchildren; 8 gr. grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Britt of San Antonio, TX. Predeceased by daughter, Deborah J. Adams. Charles was a 1949 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and was a POW. He was a retired clerk from the U.S. Postal Service in Duncansville and Altoona. Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Mausoleum.
