She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dirck Hartmann; her three children, Todd (Nancy) Hartmann, Karen (Peter) Ludlum, and Robert (Susan) Hartmann; her youngest sister, Loretta LaFontaine; and six grandchildren, Jamie Hartmann, Amy, Peter Jr. and Kevin Ludlum, and Nina and Isla Hartmann.
She was an enthusiastic and superb cook, artist and singer. She sang at RKO General in Boston and with the Jimmy Dorsey Band and was a member of the Huntington Harbor Philharmonic. She was wholly spiritual and enjoyed sharing her exceptional sixth sense. Family was her passion; she loved hosting parties for her growing brood and friends and particularly delighted in her grandchildren.
Interment will be at Good Shepherd Cemetery in the Resurrection Mausoleum - GSC on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 12:00AM
